We are under the authority and governance of a seven member board of directors..

 

Our current full-time staff:

 

Tyler Hunt has been working with middle school students since 2005. He assists with unclubs (voluntary before-school prayer groups) and with sports teams and special events.

 

 

 

Unclub Ministries is overseen by a board of professionals to ensure that donations are spent wisely and in the service of the organization's mission statement. We are grateful for their time and their support.

 

Rev. Gary Hunt:

Gary Hunt has been a youth pastor since 1976. This veteran of the ministry graduated from Liberty University and has worked specifically with middle school students, with an emphasis on campus ministry. He is currently serving at the First Baptist Church of Indian Rocks, Florida, where he oversees a full program which includes a weekly activity known as “The Spot,” attended by up to 300 community middle-schoolers. He and his wife Angela have two children and two very big dogs. One of their pets was featured on Live with Regis and Kelly as the second-largest dog in America.

 

 

 

Dr. Angela Hunt:

Novelist and professional photographer Angela Hunt has been writing since 1983. She often travels to teach writing workshops at schools and writers’ conferences and served as the keynote speaker at the 2008 American Christian Fiction Writers’ national conference. In 2006, Angela completed her Master of Biblical Studies in Theology degree and in 2008 she completed her doctorate in the same field. She is currently working on her Th.D. She is married to Gary Hunt, and they have two adult children.

 

 

 

 

Mr. Chris Calderbank:

Chris Calderbank attended FSU and Teal College, and has been a commercial developer in the Pinellas County area for twenty-seven years. He is presently president of Genesis Production, Inc., a company designing inexpensive but quality housing for third world nations. Chris has two adult daughters.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Mrs. Sue Kotchman: 

Sue Kotchman has worked for Pinellas County Schools for 32 years. Before retiring she was an elementary school teacher, curriculum specialist, assistant principal and the principal of Madeira Beach Elementary School. She attended Seminole High School, University of South Florida, and Nova University where she obtained her Bachelor and Master’s Degree in Education with endorsements in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education (grades 1-6) and Administration and Supervision (all levels). She believes strongly in promoting literacy and writing skills, so began writing children’s books since her retirement. She believes “Life is about relationships and learning new things.”

 

 

Mr. Wayne Wardell: 

Wayne Wardell was born in Clearwater at Morton Plant Hospital and graduated from Largo High School in 1981. He is the father of three fine children, and has been a business owner in Largo for over thirty years. He and his wife, Tammy, have worked with young people for many years and are a licensed foster family with the Florida Baptist Children's Home. 

 

 

Mrs. Tammy Wardell:  

Tammy Wardell was born in Clearwater's Morton Plant Hospital and graduated from Largo High, class of 1981.  She is the mother of three fine children who attended Seminole schools. She and her husband have been business owners in Largo for over thirty years. The Wardells are a licensed foster family with the Florida Baptist Children's Home. 

 

 

 

Mr. Casey Kotchman: 

Casey Kotchman was born at Bayfront Hospital in St. Petersburg.  After attending Seminole Elementary Bauder, and Seminole Middle, he graduated from Seminole High School in 2001. He played Major Leage Baseball for the last eight and a half years and continues to call this area home.
